1. How many channels will you need?
Channels are based on the number of calls made or received by your business at any one time.
If, at your busiest period, you expence about 200 concurrent calls, then that's the number of channnels we recommend that you buy. Up to 300 monthly channel subscriptions can be boughts per SIP Profile and you can have multiple SIP Profiles per device.

2. Select a pay per minute plan or add credit to your SIP profile
Buy a bundle of minutes to take advantage of great rates to the US. Each bundle costs US$30/month and includes a monthly allowance of 5,000 minutes to call landlines and mobiles in the US.**
If you call the US a lot, you can make great call savings by allocating our US minute bundles to your SIP Profile. If minutes run ot before the next renewal date, calls to the US will be charged from your SIP Profile's available Skype Credit balance at Skype Connect's standard Skype Connect call rates.
Important: The nmber of US minute bundles you add to your SIP Profile cannot exceed the number of channels you have added to the SIP Profile.**

What is a channel?

You'll need a compatible Skype Connect certified PBX or Gateway that supports:
- Protocol: SIP (RFC3261)
- IP Transport: UDP
- Authentication: SIP DIGEST or IP Authentication
- Channels: Maximum of 300 simultaneous channels
- CODECS:G.711, G.729
- DTMF: RFC2833
- E.164: International number format for all calls (local, national and international)
- TLS/sRTP
